Association History

The RVDA of Manitoba is a not-for-profit association founded in the early 1970's.  Initially the Association consisted of a group of Recreation Vehicle Dealers who saw benefits in casually meeting for the purpose of discussing common industry issues.  Eventually the Association grew, a Constitution was drawn up and the objectives of the Association were developed as follows:

  • To bring together the RV Dealers, Manufacturers and Suppliers into a common body that can speak to the issues affecting the industry as well as allowing for interchange in dealing with common problems.
  • To promote understanding and conversation among dealers in order to promote high standards of business ethics.
  • To develop information pertaining to the industry and to circulate such information among the members.
  • To provide a broader base of representation when speaking to government bodies.
  • To provide direct business information of common interest.
  • To coordinate and expedite the best approach to showing new product to the buying public in the form of an annual product show.

The annual RVDA of Manitoba Show and Sale is now in its 35th year.
